(It's safe, though it might be not necessary to disable at all, you can as well skip this step and if it will work without it please correct me if I am wrong )TIP:Here is a useful registry entry that it will add an 'Add to Firewall' and a 'Delete from Firewall' context menu option at your right click. You can also type it in windows search bar at the Start menu.2.įind Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service/right click on it and choose disable. Hold down Windows and R keys so to open Run window, type services.msc and hit Enter. (Haven't tried it yet on other players, so if you do, please confirm ) For sure it will work on (圆4)!I did all on one step so I don't know what 'exactly' did the job but you can of course try on your self each step and see. If you're using an other player other than the Windows default media player I guess you will need to stop THAT player from connecting instead. We are going to stop WMP from connecting to the net, so if you don't like this then sorry:/ Now. Here goes:Hey! I made this to work on Win7 (x86) using Windows Media Player. It seems as though the software 'phones home' through WMP as well. I found this on another forum and it worked for me! It's for WhiteCap but should work for all Sounspectrum products. Re-Enabled internet and normalized my firewall. So I made a rule to BLOCK all traffic from/To this Software SoundSpectrum. I noticed that the Program SoundSpectrum kept attempting to connect online hmmm. Now before I re-enable my internet, I decided to BLOCK all traffic using my Firewall.

Disabled my internet (unplug or disable the NIC Card via software) Installed the program, fired it up and seems to be working. I also deleted all SoundSpectrum from the registry except the install files of course.

Uninstall the program, locate the folders in C:/program files/SoundSpectrum and also C:/Documenets and Settings/your name/AppData/SoundSpectrum. For now it seems to be working but I will write back if it fails again.I followed the steps by Rourina. Ok i figured out how to get this to work.1)Uninstall Whitecap2)Delete the SoundSpectrum folder in C:Program Files3)Delete the SoundSpectrum Folder in C:Users.Your User Name Here.AppDataRoaming4)Disable your connection to the internet5) Reinstall WhiteCap whit provide Serial#6)Open WMP and go to settings for WhiteCap and set Updates for 'never'7)Restart your PC8)Once you are back to your Desktop go ahead and reestablish a connection to the internet. And there we go you should now have the Platinum version whit out the Trail version message popping up.
